ACEC and InfraGuide Partner to Develop QBS-Based Guidelines

The InfraGuide "Best Practice" for selecting a Professional Consultant, released in June, reflects the principles of Qualifications Based Selection (QBS). ACEC is now urging all member firms to embrace this new practice and promote it to clients.

InfraGuide, which is part of the National Research Council of Canada and which works collaboratibvely with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, has produced over 50 "Best Practices" guides in the areas of municipal infrastructure.
